This week, people all across the country are coming together to celebrate the incredible contributions of migrants to Britain.
Today, June 22nd is Windrush Day. It coincides with Refugee Week which kicked off on Monday 19th June.
Hostile has been screening in locations around the country to mark this. So far, we have held a screening a day: in Cardiff, Lancaster and two in London. There are also screenings upcoming in Plymouth, Sheffield and Berlin.
As the daughter of two Partition survivors who came to this country from India in the 1950s, Director Sonita Gale feels passionately about using the arts to celebrate this diverse country.
