Hostile has been reviewed today in Big Issue North by Christian Lisseman
“The film follows a fascinating handful of people who, in one way or another, find themselves at odds with the immigration system, and combines their stories with interviews with experts, academics and politicians, and archive footage covering everything from Britain’s colonial past, the infamous Rivers of Blood speech and the arrival of people from the Caribbean, who later became known as the Windrush generation.”
Big Issue North produce a wide range of socially conscious media content, including a weekly magazine sold by homeless and vulnerably housed people in the north of England with few other means of earning an income. We are proud to have received a review in a magazine that is challenging social inequality in this way.
