On Tuesday October 29th, Hostile screened for attendees at the Inequalities and Health Summit 2024 – an event hosted by Liverpool Hope University.

The event brought together over 200 delegates, including policymakers, health professionals, social entrepreneurs, academics, business leaders, and charity representatives, while the summit included plenary talks, knowledge exchange sessions, workshops and panel discussions where speakers and audiences explored a wide variety of health disparities, with the goal of having actionable solutions that promote equity for all.

It was our second screening with Liverpool Hope this year and the third overall, and was made possible thanks to support from the UK arm of the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation. And as part of our Impact Campaign’s goal to get Hostile on school and university curriculums across the country, the team at Liverpool Hope University also support our call to get the film shown in other institutions, and join them as they continue to put forth their best efforts to sustain this engagement and continue the conversation about inequalities in the future.
