On Saturday, October 29th Hostile screened at Eden Court in Inverness for the final screening of its Take One Film Festival 2022 run.
The Take One Film Festival is an Edinburgh-based, independent charity founded by film lovers, cultural activists and globally-concerned citizens who believe that shared cinematic experience can catalyse lasting change. It includes director Ken Loach and screenwriter Paul Laverty as patrons.
The festival organisers say their goal is to bring individuals, communities, campaigners, filmmakers, politicians, academics and artists together to explore the connections, systems and cultures underpinning social, cultural, environmental and economic inequality – and empower them to envisage tangible action.
The screenings all took place in Scotland between September and October.
