On February 26th, Hostile screened at Aston University, at an event which included a Q&A with director Sonita Gale.
The screening was hosted by Dr Jelena Obradović-Wochnik, Co-Director of the university’s Centre for Migration and Forced Displacement, a research centre building links with stakeholders in the West Midlands, while leading national and international discussions on migration research, with a specific focus on critical approaches, ethics, representation and innovative research methods. Over the course of the afternoon, Sonita met with students with a lived experience of racism and hostile migration policies.
