On Thursday 7th July, Hostile will be screening at Curzon Cinema, in Clevedon, Somerset. This is a follow up event to Refugee Week 2022 and will feature a panel discussion with Sam Sayer, who has worked in the charity sector alongside asylum seekers and refugees for 20 years, and Dr Natasha Carver, an award winning author and academic specialising in migration at the University of Bristol.

The screening is part of Hostile’s continued tour around the country, which has been provoking discussion at a community level about the impact of the UK’s hostile environment since January 2022. We are excited to see Hostile returning to the South West after an incredible screening at Glastonbury 2022.

If you are based in the South West then this screening is not to be missed, as Feast Boxes created by Houria, a Bristol based anti-slavery & anti-racism organisation, training & hiring female survivors of slavery in a Pan-African catering company, are available with tickets.
