On Tuesday March 15th 2022, the BFI are hosting a screening of Hostile followed by an in-conversation with Nitin Sawhney and Sonita Gale. Hostile is screening as part of ‘The Camera is Ours’, a season of films by British female documentary makers ‘from the female pioneers in the 1930s to the rich contemporary scene’. The season at BFI Southbank will showcase restored films from documentary makers from 1935-1967, including Marion and Ruby Grierson, Jill Craigie and Sarah Erulkar. After being initially sold-out, Hostile has been moved to NFT1 to a bigger screen of 450 seats. Tickets can be found here.
