Hostile Screens Around the UK During Refugee Week

A number of new Hostile screenings took place during Refugee Week 2025 and the weeks running up to it.

Over the course of June, the film screened at ScrapAntics in Dundee, Oxford University’s 

Refugee Studies Center in Nairobi, the Universities of Reading and Central Lancashire, Swansea City of Sanctuary, Newcastle City Library and Abergavenny Town of Sanctuary. 

Refugee Week is the world’s largest arts & culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.
