On October 29th, Hostile screened for students at Sussex University for a Migration MA held by Professor Paul Statham, Director of the Sussex Centre for Migration Research. . The film was used as a basis for discussion by adding personal stories to the topic of external and internal borders.
The MA in Migration Studies at Sussex University is a programme that studies the dynamics of external and internal borders and how they importantly shape migrants’ life chances and day-to-day existence.
We hope to see the film used in more schools and universities across the country over the course of the next year, as the second phase of our impact campaign progresses.
