On Sunday, September 19th Hostile screened at the Take One Film Festival as part of its 2022 Festival lineup.
The Take One Film Festival is an Edinburgh-based, independent charity founded by film lovers, cultural activists and globally-concerned citizens who believe that shared cinematic experience can catalyse lasting change. It includes director Ken Loach and screenwriter Paul Laverty as patrons.
The aim of these screenings is to bring “individuals, communities, campaigners, filmmakers, politicians, academics and artists together to explore the connections, systems and cultures underpinning social, cultural, environmental and economic inequality – and empower them to envisage tangible action.”
The screening is the first of four that will be held across Scotland between September and October.
