Hostile has been officially selected by Manchester Film Festival 2022 and is in competition for Documentary alongside some fantastic films. We are proud to be part of a festival that is showcasing ‘groundbreaking international indie film’.

Manchester holds particular resonance as it is where Dir. Sonita Gale filmed with Farrukh Sair, a participant who has been affected deeply by the Hostile Environment. We look forward to bringing Hostile to Manchester audiences to raise awareness of his stories and so many others that are affected by the hostile environment in this country.

Hostile screens at Manchester Film Festival on Saturday 19th March. Tickets available at: https://www.maniff.com/hostile  Farrukh will be joining the screening and Q&A alongside Sonita.
