We are pleased to announce that, in collaboration with Liverpool Hope University, Hostile will be available online for attendees of the upcoming Inequalities and Health Summit 2024. This access has been made possible through funding from the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation.
The Inequalities and Health Summit comes at a critical moment for the UK, as the country grapples with widening health inequalities, the ongoing cost of living crisis, and a decrease in life expectancy—issues disproportionately affecting the most vulnerable groups in society. With the summit focused on driving real change in the North West region, it provides a platform for academics, policy-makers, health professionals, activists, and third-sector organisations to address these complex challenges.
Hostile sheds light on the UK’s ‘hostile environment’ towards migrants, exploring the broader implications for social justice and human rights. We are proud to contribute to this vital conversation by offering attendees the opportunity to view the documentary as part of the summit.
If your organisation or educational institution would like to arrange a screening of Hostile, please get in touch.
