On November 20th, director Sonita Gale will take part in the sold out event “Inside the Industry: Working in Film”, a discussion organised by the King Alfred School in London, to help people starting their careers in film connect with industry professionals.
Attendees include students from two state schools and its staff, as well as a guestlist that includes a mix of current students, Old Alfredians, and parents. The event features an expert panel, including some former students, who share their experiences in the film industry, as well as an audience Q&A.
In addition to Sonita, speakers include:
- Teddy Leifer, Award-winning film and TV producer and OA
- David Arnold, Award-winning film and television composer
- Miranda Bowen, Award-winning writer
- Clemente Lohr, Award-winning writer and director and OA
The event will be moderated by Nuray Jemil, the Head of Film at KAS.
We look forward to the discussion, and meeting the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers.
