This week Hostile is featured in the ‘Mark Kermode Introduces’ series on the BFI Player.

In his introduction to the film, Kermode says Hostile takes “an unflinching look at racism in modern times and connects the problem of today with the colonial expansions of the past, while also spurring its audiences into action that may change the future.”

Earlier this year, Kermode interviewed director Sonita Gale at Glastonbury Festival. You can read all about it here.

As we continue Hostile’s Impact Tour, we are incredibly proud and honoured to see the film being given such a platform, as we continue to tell the stories of migrants facing the hostile environment.

If you are yet to see the film, it is available on the BFI Player until November 11th. You can also find out about upcoming screenings here.
