It’s been an amazing week attending Raindance Film Festival, meeting fellow filmmakers, participants and speakers. Hostile premiered at Raindance at Hoxton Curzon on October 29th. After the screening, Sonita was interviewed by Raindance as part of a Q&A. Many of the audience members including members of migrant communities and NHS workers felt compelled to stand up and share their stories, and how they had been affected by the Hostile Environment.
A massive thank you to all of the participants for being a part of the film, to our crew and team, and a big thank you to our impact partners too.
Hostile was also longlisted for 3 BIFA Awards – Best Documentary, Best Debut Director, and the Raindance Discovery Award, and will be showing at Cambridge Film Festival on 20th and 23rd November, with a special Q&A on the 23rd. (Tickets available: www.cambridgefilmfestival.org.uk/film/hostile)
We are now seeking distribution for the film, please get in touch at info@galeforcefilms.co.uk
