Hostile will screen as a part of this year’s Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, and in the lead up to the event, director Sonita Gale was interviewed by Peter Krausz. Peter Krausz is a film critic, film journalist, film festival consultant, Q & A host and film judge. He is the former Chair of the Australian Film Critics Association, and is a member of FIPRESCI (the International Federation of Film Critics), having served on three international film juries including the Berlinale. 

The 30-minute  interview covered a range of topics, including the origins of the documentary, the Windrush Scandal, the Rwanda Deportation Scheme, and the research involved in making the film.
