On Saturday, Hostile screened at the National Maritime Museum as one of their series of events in support of Refugee Week 2022, which included a special celebration of the Caribbean community during Windrush day.

The film screened at the Voyager’s Gallery and we are happy that the screening was free to the public, so the film could be available to the widest audience possible.

The theme of Refugee Week this year is ‘healing’ and the National Maritime Museum incorporated the screening of Hostile in their exploration of this theme.

This was a particularly important opportunity for the public to engage in the stories told in Hostile and to think about how they can engage in collective healing in response to the Hostile Environment.

Thanks again to the organisers at the Royal Museums Greenwich for including Hostile in their wonderful programme.
